Amanda Bynes obviously faces some - undeniably - serious legal problems.

According to a
spokesperson for the L.A. City Attorney's Office, Bynes, 26, has been charged with two counts of hit-and-run relating to alleged incidents in April and August.

Celebrity website TMZ reported that on April 10, the actress, driving a rental car, slammed into a vehicle on an L.A. freeway and fled the scene, according to the alleged victim. On August 4, a different woman stated that Bynes, driving a BMW this time, rear-ended her and drove off without exchanging information, according to a report at the time.

Bynes faces up to one year in jail if convicted on both of the misdemeanor counts. Her arraignment is scheduled at a Van Nuys, Calif., courthouse on September 27. Her attorney did not immediately return a request for comment.

Just for the record, this is her second round of charges.

It has to be mentioned that in June Bynes was charged with driving under the influence after an April 6 arrest in West Hollywood.

"I don't drink," Bynes wrote at the time in a tweet to the Barack Obama presidential campaign. "Please fire the cop who arrested me."

It appears that Bynes keeps on repeating her dangerous mistakes... She is apparently an alcoholic in denial. What do you think? Should Amanda be charged with one year in jail or not?
